Montana State's Art Education K-12 Broadfield program prepares aspiring educators to teach art across all grade levels from kindergarten through 12th grade. This comprehensive program blends art instruction, art history studies, and pedagogical training to equip future teachers with essential classroom skills. Many students pursuing this major complement their studies with a teaching minor to enhance their qualifications and broaden their impact in educational settings. The Art department provides four specialized tracks: Art History, Graphic Design, Liberal Arts Studio, and Studio Arts. Alongside the teaching major, students can also pursue Art (K-12) as a teaching minor.
