The Lieberthal-Rogel Center for Chinese Studies provides a 15-credit Graduate Certificate program in Chinese Studies. Designed for U-M graduate students across LSA departments and professional schools, this certificate also welcomes applicants who have earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan or another institution within the last five years. The program aims to deliver interdisciplinary expertise on China, equipping graduate students with specialized knowledge for academic and professional paths that demand China-related competencies.
Applicants complete a bachelor’s degree from a U.S. college or university accredited by a regional accrediting association; or complete an international degree that is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree from a college or university recognized and approved by the Ministry of Education or Commission responsible for higher education in the country where the degree is earned.

Paper/Pencil TOEFL and TWE - 560;
Revised Paper Delivered Test - An overall score is not provided for this test. Minimum section scores: Reading = 23; Listening = 23; Writing = 21;
