UMass Boston's clinical psychology program, accredited by the American Psychological Association's Commission on Accreditation since 1993, follows a scientist-practitioner-activist approach. This program trains clinical psychologists with strong psychological science fundamentals who can apply their knowledge to address mental health challenges across diverse populations, including children, teens, and adults. Alumni emerge equipped to enhance human welfare through research, clinical work, teaching, advocacy, and professional service.
