The Social, Decision, and Organizational Sciences (SDOS) Program integrates the disciplines of Social Psychology, Decision Sciences, and Industrial/Organizational Psychology. This interdisciplinary field examines how people interpret and respond to social information, make choices, and navigate relationships in personal, professional, and societal settings. Our research spans multiple levels of analysis. At the individual level, we explore motivation, social cognition, belief formation, decision strategies, behavioral economics, risk evaluation, and self-concept. Interpersonal dynamics encompass relationship studies, conflict resolution, bargaining tactics, social pressure, team dynamics, authority structures, collective choices, digital interactions, inclusion efforts, and bias reduction. Institutional investigations focus on workplace values, cross-cultural differences, and organizational transformation.
