The Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies program brings together faculty from diverse disciplines across campus and beyond. Graduates pursue careers in fields like social services, healthcare, business, law, education, and government positions at various levels. This program serves as an ideal complementary major or minor for students studying anthropology, nursing, political science, psychology, sociology, English, social work, or history. Through this interdisciplinary approach, students develop a comprehensive perspective on how societal perceptions of gender have shaped the experiences, contributions, and societal positions of individuals across different cultures throughout history. This knowledge equips them with valuable insights to navigate our evolving world and its shifting gender dynamics.
