Located in a research facility within a vibrant city setting, the Studio Arts program equips students for professional careers in modern art or further graduate education. Students can specialize in either painting or sculpture within the Studio Arts track. Beyond hands-on studio classes, participants engage in seminars exploring current art theory and practice. These seminars and upper-level studio courses foster interdisciplinary collaboration, welcoming Photography and Moving Image majors. Prior to graduation, every student must create and document a culminating BFA thesis exhibition.
