The Master of Arts in Education (M.A.E.) in Mathematics Education program caters to professionals seeking advanced knowledge in mathematics education while enhancing their mathematical foundation. The curriculum provides adaptable pathways to accommodate diverse academic and career objectives. Participants may select from these study tracks:
A 30-credit degree path concentrating on key topics in mathematics education.
A dual 30-credit program combining our Educator Preparation Institute (EPI), featuring an 18-credit EPI certification alongside the 12 credits required for the MAE. Prospective students must submit their EPI application by April 15th and begin in the summer session.
A 36-credit degree alternative incorporating 18 graduate-level mathematics credits. While more extensive, this option appeals particularly to those pursuing community college mathematics instruction.
