The 30-credit Master's in Mathematics program provides five specialization tracks: Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Data Analytics, Actuarial Mathematics, and Teaching College Mathematics. Each concentration has defined coursework requirements, with all academic plans requiring approval from the Graduate Studies Director. Those intending to pursue a PhD in Computational Mathematics should opt for the Comprehensive Exam's area exams as their Master's Capstone.
Research opportunities span diverse fields such as Combinatorics, Differential Equations, Geometric Group Theory, Number Theory, Mathematical Biology, Statistics, and Topology.
Qualified MA candidates may obtain annual stipends of USD 10,800 along with tuition remission.
