The ISOM Ph.D. Program's purpose is to cultivate scholars capable of significant advancements in their research domains. We strive to position our alumni at leading research institutions, whether they belong to the Association of American Universities or are designated as R1 Universities (Doctoral Universities with Highest research activity) by the Carnegie Classification. Aligned with this vision, our principal objective is to prepare doctoral candidates for groundbreaking research in their selected disciplines and secure them positions in academic research settings. The Department's key focus areas include: Information Systems/Information Technology (IS/IT) and Operations Management (OM).
A minimum grade point average of 3.2
A minimum GMAT score of 650 or GRE scores acceptable to the program
For nonnative speakers of English, submit an acceptable score on one of the following: TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language: computer=213, paper=550, web=80), IELTS (International English Language Testing System: 6), MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery: 77), or successful completion of the UF English Language Institute program.
