The Graduate Teacher Education program awards a Master of Arts in Teaching degree and initial teaching certification. Our program collaborates with the CU Denver Professional Development School Network, which includes more than 20 urban schools across multiple Denver-area districts. Throughout their year in the program, teacher candidates fully immerse in the teaching profession through sequential residency placements at professional development schools.
