The Molecular Biology, Genetics, and Physiology training program equips scientists with comprehensive biological knowledge ranging from genomic factors to whole-organism traits. This foundation in methodologies and principles supports diverse fields such as medical science, evolutionary studies, genetic analysis, genome function research, and cellular physiology. A primary objective of this initiative is enabling participants to investigate the molecular and physiological bases of significant biological traits, fostering adaptable expertise across various scientific domains. Participating faculty maintain collaborative partnerships with numerous organizations, including UC's College of Medicine, Cincinnati Children's Hospital, the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, and various other institutions both within and beyond the University of Cincinnati network.
