If you're passionate about science, technology, and helping others, pursuing radiologic technology offers both intellectual stimulation and personal fulfillment. The University of Central Missouri's distinctive 2+2 Radiology Tech program combines classroom and lab instruction during the initial two years with hands-on clinical experience in the final two years. This comprehensive approach, utilizing cutting-edge medical equipment and real patient interactions, thoroughly prepares you for the Radiation Technology Board Exam and your professional journey.

You'll develop specialized expertise in medical imaging technologies like X-rays and MRI, while gaining a foundation for advanced training in nuclear medicine and ultrasound. Beyond conducting diagnostic imaging procedures that aid in identifying illnesses and injuries, radiologic technologists play a crucial role in comforting patients during potentially anxiety-inducing medical procedures.
