The Global and Community Health (GCH) program at UC Santa Cruz consists of two distinct tracks. The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) provides two specialization options—biomedical or public/community health—designed to equip students for careers in healthcare, patient services, health administration, public health, or advocacy. Meanwhile, the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) focuses on developing students' understanding of health's social factors, cultivating leadership abilities for future roles in healthcare systems, policy development, public health initiatives, and community engagement.
