The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering provides academic programs in aerospace and mechanical engineering for both bachelor's and advanced degree seekers. Our research and teaching initiatives cover a wide spectrum, from dynamics and fluid mechanics to nanotechnology, structural analysis, and control systems. These disciplines find practical use across numerous fields such as aviation, automotive design, renewable energy, robotics, advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, and microelectronics. Undergraduate students can pursue ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science degrees in either Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering. For graduate studies, we provide Master's and Doctoral programs in both engineering disciplines, along with a specialized Master's in Manufacturing Engineering.

Qualification Requirements

An international student whose post-secondary education is completed outside of the U.S. is expected to hold a degree representing completion of at least four years of study with above average scholarship from a university or university-level institution.

TOEFL score on the paper and pencil test must be at least 560 or at least 87 on the internet-based test.
