The Global Cultures program is a forward-thinking undergraduate major within the School of Humanities, dedicated to examining globalization's challenges and dynamics through a humanistic lens. Global Cultures professors deliver engaging lectures and, in upper-level courses, facilitate interactive seminar-style discussions. The program emphasizes an interdisciplinary methodology, integrating resources from various departments and disciplines within both the Humanities (such as Art History, English, Film and Media Studies, History, Philosophy, Religious Studies, Spanish and Portuguese) and Social Sciences (including Anthropology, Chicano/Latino Studies, Political Science, Sociology).
