The Global Studies Bachelor of Arts (GLST) is a humanities-focused degree that cultivates cultural awareness. This GLST program equips students to address worldwide issues in careers requiring articulate, thoughtful perspectives on social and cultural matters both locally and internationally. Graduates pursue opportunities in education, global development, non-profit organizations, translation, public relations, government, international law, global commerce, and research.

Language studies and cultural understanding form the core of the GLST program. The curriculum explores relationships between human and natural systems, along with cultural experiences. Classes examine how literature, cinema, digital media, arts, and architecture express values and global concepts, while tracking the movement of people, communities, languages, and cultures worldwide.
