Those enrolled in the Languages, Literatures and Culture (LLC) program develop multilingual communication abilities while cultivating a profound understanding of various cultural histories and traditions. This major equips learners with essential competencies to become thoughtful, compassionate participants in international business and global relations. Graduates with this B.A. degree can pursue careers in diverse sectors such as marketing, foreign service, media, education, interpretation, hospitality, and beyond.
The curriculum focuses on French language, literature, and cultural studies, helping students achieve advanced linguistic capabilities and cultural awareness alongside intercultural fluency. Francophone studies can particularly enhance academic pursuits or advanced degrees in disciplines like anthropology, art history, legal studies, political science, theology, and social sciences.
Our Francophone Studies Program serves as an authorized testing center for the DELF exam, the global benchmark for French language certification. Students have the opportunity to prepare for and complete this assessment upon finishing their coursework.
