The Neuroscience Graduate Group stands as one of the nation's top training programs, providing an extensive curriculum and exceptional research prospects for students pursuing M.S. and Ph.D. degrees, while also collaborating with Physician and Veterinary Scientist Training Programs. With more than 80 faculty members from 20 diverse departments, divisions, and sections—spanning the School of Medicine, School of Veterinary Medicine, College of Biological Sciences, College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, and College of Letters and Sciences—the program fosters an interdisciplinary environment. This campus-wide structure ensures remarkable diversity, catering to students with varied academic interests. Specializations within the program cover molecular, cellular, developmental, systems, behavioral, computational, cognitive, and neurological neuroscience. Students can focus on specific fields such as cellular/molecular neuroscience, developmental neuroscience, systems neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, behavioral neuroscience, or computational neuroscience.
Students with U.S. bachelor's degrees or equivalent degrees from institutions of recognized standing in other countries may apply for admission to Graduate Studies. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
