The Bachelor of Science in Chemical Physics equips students with comprehensive knowledge of core chemistry principles, particularly those bridging chemistry and physics disciplines. This includes techniques for experimentally measuring and theoretically modeling atomic and molecular characteristics and behaviors. Spectroscopy serves as a key experimental method in this field, employing both traditional and laser light sources to examine matter's atomic and molecular attributes. Program graduates gain qualifications for careers in diverse sectors such as technology, energy research, laser applications, materials science, and solid-state chemistry - all demanding robust chemistry and physics foundations. Additionally, this degree provides excellent preparation for advanced studies in chemistry, chemical physics, computational chemistry, materials science, nanotechnology, and laser research.
Freshman applicant will be completing or have completed secondary school and have not enrolled at any college or university.
