For a deep dive into Spanish focused on the scientific analysis of the language, explore the Hispanic Linguistics specialization. Linguistics examines language systems, covering structure, arrangement, sounds, and significance. Beyond fluency, students pursuing a Spanish BA with Hispanic Linguistics concentration develop comprehensive knowledge of Spanish's linguistic architecture. Courses in phonetics, morphosyntax, sociolinguistics, and related subjects reveal how the mind processes and structures Spanish.
