The University of Alaska Fairbanks' M.S. in statistics program was initially developed through a partnership with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game to produce skilled biometric professionals. After 25 years, our master's program in statistics still provides distinctive chances to collaborate with various departments and Arctic-focused initiatives, especially in wildlife biology and fisheries.

Every graduate-level statistics course is available in a hybrid format, allowing students to finish the degree completely online while maintaining full-time or part-time employment. The majority of our students also participate in teaching or research assistantships, which offer financial support through stipends and tuition benefits.
