The Master of Science in Arid Land Studies (MSALS) offers a distinctive cross-disciplinary curriculum that equips students for global careers focused on arid regions, encompassing natural resources, environmental sciences, and related socioeconomic considerations. Each student's program is customized to align with their professional aspirations. MSALS participants can select either the thesis track (24 graduate course credits plus 6 thesis credits and 6 research credits) or the 36-credit non-thesis alternative.

Qualification Requirements
International applicants must provide original language documents and English translations. If the documents are not provided in English, an official English translation of all transcripts/ individual semester mark sheets is required.
If admitted, the applicant will be required to submit official transcripts, diplomas/degree certificates, and test scores by the twelfth class day of the term to which the applicant is admitted.
Original or Certified Copies of All College and University Transcripts - Include mark sheets, examination results, etc. An official English translation is required. If the degree is not complete when the application is made, six semesters or three years of course work are required.
All international applicants must be in good academic standing at any school they are currently attending. All international applicants must have been in good standing in all schools they previously attended at their final matriculation.
TOEFL - The minimum TOEFL score required is 550 (paper-based version) or 79 (internet-based version).
IELTS - The minimum IELTS required score is an overall band score of 6.5 on the Academic version.
