The B.F.A. Studio Art curriculum cultivates visually expressive artists by providing comprehensive training in conceptual development, technical skills, art history, and professional practices across multiple studio and academic disciplines. Students can specialize in seven distinct areas: Ceramics, Drawing, Expanded Media, Metals, Painting, Printmaking, and Sculpture, while exploring interdisciplinary connections between these fields. The program culminates in a Thesis course, portfolio development, and a public exhibition. This rigorous preparation equips graduates for successful careers as practicing artists and arts professionals, addressing diverse student ambitions. The School nurtures creative exploration that enhances both conceptual thinking and technical proficiency, fostering visually sophisticated artistic voices.
