The 3+2 Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Master of Public Health in Occupational Safety and Health program goes beyond training advanced OSH professionals. It prepares graduates to make an immediate difference in workplace safety while providing comprehensive knowledge of how Occupational Safety and Health intersects with medicine, nursing, population health, and related fields.
The undergraduate portion of this accelerated program focuses on promoting workplace wellness and preventing illnesses to enhance quality of life for workers, families, and communities. The graduate MPH component is a non-thesis program featuring practical experiences as degree requirements. Students will engage in a practicum to showcase public health problem-solving abilities and take a challenging capstone course.
