The Environmental and Safety Management (ESM) degree equips students with skills for careers in safety and environmental oversight. This program covers broad and specialized areas of environmental protection and workplace safety prevalent across industries. Coursework focuses on modern technologies, ethical leadership, and professional development. Alumni can pursue diverse career paths in both government and corporate settings. ESM maintains an active leadership council and supports an ASSE student chapter. The program features dedicated laboratory spaces with comprehensive safety and environmental equipment. Instructors bring substantial field experience and relevant academic credentials to the program. Students may qualify for multiple safety-focused scholarships offered by organizations like the Builders Association and ASSE.
High School Academic Records: A minimum GPA (grade point average) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) in high school and have earned a high school diploma
International College/University Academic Records: A minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) in an accredited international post-secondary institution (college/university)
U.S. College/University Academic Records: A minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) if transferring from an accredited U.S. college with at least 24 credit hours (approximately one year of college work)
English Language Requirement
TOEFL score of at least 68 (iBT) is required. In addition, a minimum score of 15 is required in each section (internet).
IELTS: Overall score of 6.0 with a minimum score of 5.0. in each band of the IELTS is required. If a lower score is earned in any of the five band scores, the overall score cannot be accepted.
PTE: Overall score of 47.
Application Deadline: Fall Semester – June 1st, Spring Semester – October 15th.
