Biomedical sciences represent interdisciplinary applied life sciences that integrate clinical, service, and research practices to enhance the health of humans, animals, and ecosystems. This academic program is available at the College Station campus as well as the Texas A&M Higher Education Center located in McAllen, Texas. Our objective is to instruct and equip students to drive advancements in human, animal, and environmental health via innovation, scientific exploration, and worldwide service and outreach initiatives. The curriculum fosters adaptability in biological and medical sciences and highlights a One Health educational philosophy through coursework that underscores the interdependence of human, animal, and ecological health, while uniting students aspiring to medical professions influencing all three areas. A robust advising system supports students in crafting personalized strategies and course selections that ready them for admission into medical, allied health, or graduate programs of their preference. This methodology enriches their academic journey, boosts their acceptance into professional and graduate schools, and eases their transition into the biomedical science employment sector.
