Discover your artistic voice and master dance techniques through Temple University's Boyer College of Music and Dance Undergraduate Certificate in Dance. Available to all Temple undergraduates, this 12-credit, six-course program builds essential skills for aspiring choreographers, performers, dance educators, or instructors in schools, studios, or community settings. You'll develop expertise in contemporary dance techniques, movement principles, performance skills, and dance theory. Learn from Temple's distinguished dance faculty - accomplished artists who have performed globally and mentored exceptional dance students. The curriculum also explores the rich history, cultural significance, and diverse styles of dance, from ballet to jazz and hip-hop. To enroll, students must complete at least 15 credits. Note: Dance majors are ineligible for this certificate program.
