The Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) program prepares professionals for careers in government, private organizations, and non-profits that regularly collaborate with public agencies. The M.P.P. coursework equips students with technical and analytical expertise to analyze policy proposals and assess the impact of government initiatives across federal, state, and municipal levels. Students develop an understanding of the political and institutional frameworks that shape policy development, implementation, and evaluation. Temple University's College of Liberal Arts offers this program to teach policy assessment techniques while exploring the governmental contexts of policy execution. Combining academic research with hands-on experience, the MPP curriculum prepares graduates for public service and nonprofit careers through internships, client projects, and industry speaker events. Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Discipline/Related Discipline: A baccalaureate degree is required.

Statement of Goals: Approximately 500 to 1,000 words include your interest in Temple's program, your future career goals, and your academic and work experience.

Standardized Test Scores:
Applicants who earned their baccalaureate degree from an institution where the language of instruction was other than English, with the exception of those who subsequently earned a master's degree at a U.S. institution, must report scores for a standardized test of English that meet these minimums:

IELTS Academic: 7.0

The minimum admissions standard for all graduate students is ordinarily an undergraduate grade point average of B or 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or the functional equivalent for students who have attended universities outside of the United States.
