The Goldman School of Public Policy (GSPP) and the Energy and Resources Group (ERG) provide an exceptional and unique concurrent MPP-ERG (MA or MS) degree program that combines public policy analysis with interdisciplinary energy and resource expertise. This program bridges ERG and Public Policy fields to educate future leaders capable of addressing global energy and environmental challenges. It emphasizes analytical, quantitative, methodological, theoretical, and applied solutions for energy, environmental science, and policy issues. Students must finish both degrees within three years by completing essential core courses from both GSPP and ERG while fulfilling each program's academic standards. The curriculum introduces fundamental disciplinary methods for examining energy, resource, and public policy matters while allowing students to specialize through topical clusters and the Advanced Policy Analysis Project capstone requirement, which expands their analytical skills and knowledge in chosen areas.
