The Department of Religion provides a graduate program in Critique, Image, and Politics, examining how religious traditions influence and are influenced by aesthetic expressions, moral frameworks, psychological perspectives, social structures, philosophical thought, and cultural-political theories.
The program's coursework is organized into four thematic groups. Participants can enroll in the same course multiple times (up to three instances) when it's presented with distinct subtitles indicating varied content.

Three (3) letters of recommendation
Personal Statement of not more than 1000 words, including your choice of concentration and religious culture to study at SU
Writing Sample of not more than 20 pages.
GRE scores are waived for Fall 2022 applications*
TOEFL scores (for applicants whose first language is not English)
