This program enhances your skills in optimizing education for students with mild, moderate, and significant disabilities by employing tailored instructional strategies aligned with each learner's unique needs. You'll cultivate essential teamwork and co-teaching abilities to assist students with disabilities in mainstream elementary classrooms (grades 1-6).
Your professional growth will expand through coursework and practical experiences focused on supporting students with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental challenges, along with training in evaluation methods, data-driven decision making, behavioral support techniques, and adaptive technologies for diverse learners.
Important: This master's program requires applicants to possess initial certification in Childhood Education.
