Equips you with the essential principles and methods for achieving success and leadership in aerospace and related engineering systems' conception, design, implementation, and operation. The undergraduate Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering program aims to supply students with the foundational principles and techniques required for success and leadership in aerospace and related engineering systems' conception, design, implementation, and operation. Major courses introduce students to engineering fundamentals. They learn to apply this core knowledge to perform laboratory experiments and tackle aerospace system design challenges. Graduating from the Aeronautics and Astronautics undergraduate program results in earning a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. The "Aeronautics and Astronautics" subplan is noted on both the transcript and diploma.
A high school diploma or the equivalent is required in order to enroll at Stanford. Generally, we receive English proficiency exam results (TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test, etc.) from applicants whose native language is not English and/or the primary language of instruction at their secondary school is not English.
