The BAS in applied science with an aviation concentration is designed for students who have completed associate degree training in air transportation fields like management, flight operations, or maintenance. This program introduces students to management principles.

This major qualifies for the Western Undergraduate Exchange program at the Polytechnic campus. Western state residents choosing this major and campus may qualify for reduced nonresident tuition, set at 150% of Arizona resident tuition plus fees. You’re considered a first-year student if you graduated from a regionally accredited high school or earned your GED, and you never attended college or have fewer than 12 transferable college credit hours.

First-year students must have a 3.00 grade point average (GPA) (a "B" or better where "A"=4.00) from a secondary school.
