Lewis University was established in 1932 with a foundation in Aviation Maintenance, a field that remains critically important today. According to Boeing's recent forecast, global demand will require 690,000 maintenance technicians by 2035. Graduates with an Aviation Maintenance degree are equipped to enter the world's most rapidly expanding industry. This curriculum is tailored for students aiming for careers in aviation maintenance management. To complete the program successfully, students must earn at least 128 credit hours and obtain Lewis University Certificates of Completion for both Airframe and Powerplant.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
You'll be qualified for technical management roles with airlines or maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) facilities, such as: Crew Scheduler, Aircraft Maintenance Director, Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor, Airline marketing specialists, and Aircraft parts sales representatives.
Applicants must have graduated from an approved high school with a combination of grade point average, class rank, and ACT or SAT score which indicates a strong likelihood of success in university studies.
Applicants must have accumulated 18 high school units. Three of those units should be in English; the remaining 15 units should be chosen from a college preparatory curriculum.
