The Unmanned Aircraft Systems Applications Certificate offers students fundamental knowledge in UAS technologies and their practical uses, preparing them for careers in various unmanned aircraft sectors. To earn the certificate, students must complete 16 credit hours, consisting of 10 required credits and 6 elective credits from specified courses. Admission to the UAS certificate program requires meeting TAMU-CC's undergraduate admission criteria and fulfilling all course prerequisites. Undergraduate students in engineering, computer science, or geospatial information science can pursue this certificate alongside their degree, though additional credits beyond their major requirements may be necessary. Transfer credits for certain required courses and credit for prior experience may be accepted. Participants must maintain all academic standards, apply for the certificate, and follow a Certificate Plan approved by the Director of the School of Engineering and Computing Sciences or their delegate.
