The Diesel Technology program at St. Philip's College equips students with essential skills for careers in today's advanced and competitive diesel technology sector. Diesel Technicians are in high demand across numerous industries including Construction, Transportation, Agriculture, Oil and Gas, Mining, and Environmental sectors. The curriculum combines classroom learning with hands-on laboratory projects. Course offerings cover Heavy Duty Brake Systems, Diesel Engines, Engine Performance, Preventive Maintenance, Basic Hydraulics, Electrical Systems, and advanced diesel technology subjects. Students gain practical experience through a Practicum component. All course content and Student Learning Outcomes (SLO) receive approval from the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF).
