The Aviation Maintenance Management Specialization is designed for students pursuing careers in aircraft repair and maintenance. SDSU collaborates with accredited FAA A&P programs nationwide to provide a four-year aviation maintenance management degree. Candidates must first obtain an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification before transferring to SDSU to complete their degree. Students have the opportunity to work under SDSU's Chief of Aviation Maintenance before graduating, offering valuable hands-on experience for maintenance students. Consult with any Aviation Program faculty member before registering for this specialization.
