Get ready for an Asian Studies major by completing suggested courses that meet transfer degree prerequisites. This program offers an interdisciplinary exploration of Asia's rich diversity and the evolution of its societies, both traditional and modern. Through classes in Asian languages, literature, history, arts, Eastern philosophy, geography, economics, sociology, political science, and other subjects, students build a solid foundation in Asian civilization. The Associate in Arts - Direct Transfer Agreement (AA-DTA) falls under Shoreline's General Transfer program, structured to cover the initial two years needed for most bachelor's degrees.
