This pathway is ideal for students pursuing a dual major with Asian American Studies as their secondary concentration.
Rooted in social justice movements alongside marginalized groups, the Department of Asian American Studies commits to both scholarly and community-oriented objectives. These include fostering educational advancement, supporting career growth, strengthening Asian/Pacific Islander communities locally and internationally, and addressing societal, economic, legal, and cultural challenges to inspire equitable solutions and progressive change.
