The Visual and Sound Media program's Sound Production and Engineering concentration teaches students to record, edit, and mix audio across multiple fields, including music production, television/radio broadcasting, and film/video creation. Students have strong opportunities to complete internships within New York City's thriving audio sector.

All resources - including the television studio, radio station, editing suites, and sound production labs - are reserved solely for student access starting in their first semester. Extracurricular programs like PirateTV and WSOU 89.5 FM provide exceptional hands-on training. Alumni enter diverse media careers as screenwriters, producers, directors, editors, and various other industry roles.
