The Law and Society Program examines how legal frameworks and institutions interact with broader social structures. Particularly appealing to those pursuing government or legal careers, it also attracts students curious about law's societal impact.
This interdisciplinary major explores legal systems through multiple lenses, incorporating Justice Studies along with Anthropology, Economics, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology. The curriculum serves both students seeking a well-rounded liberal arts education and those preparing for advanced studies in law or graduate programs.
Graduates of high schools or equivalent are eligible for admission, with the equivalent of a GPA of 2.0 or better.
Students must be 18 years or older by the start of the semester without restrictions.
