The MUP program educates competent experts who complete their studies with comprehensive knowledge of planning principles and hands-on expertise in specific planning disciplines. Students can hone their abilities in focused areas like Affordable Housing and Community Development Finance, Technology Applications in Planning, Urban Design and Development, Environmental Planning, Real Estate Development, or Transportation and Land Use strategies.
Upon completion, alumni possess both applied competencies and conceptual understanding, enabling them to enhance living standards and economic prospects for city dwellers while also protecting and improving ecological systems.
U.S. bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, or the completion of a 4-year bachelor’s degree from a recognized, accredited, and approved institution from a country outside of the U.S. A 2.5 GPA (from the 0.0-4.0 U.S. grading scale) in the last degree completed or a 2.5 GPA in the last two years of full-time study.
English Language Proficiency: IELTS: 6.5; TOEFL – 80 (IBT), paper based – 550, Computer based – 213; Pearson Test of English (PTE) – 53. General test recommended for all applicants but required of those whose cumulative undergraduate GPA was below 3.0 (but above the university graduate-school minimum of 2.5).
