Industrial and Systems Engineering aims to optimize manufacturing and service systems for efficiency, productivity, safety, and ergonomic design while ensuring proper tool integration. The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering's Master of Science program equips engineers with skills to fulfill these objectives in various organizational settings. Students learn to connect operational and managerial functions through coursework covering operations management, quality control, ergonomics, human-computer interaction, data systems, cost-benefit analysis, and organizational improvement strategies. This program readies graduates for immediate professional work or advanced doctoral studies.
U.S. bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, or the completion of a 4-year bachelor’s degree from a recognized, accredited, and approved institution from a country outside of the U.S. A 2.5 GPA (from the 0.0-4.0 U.S. grading scale) in the last degree completed or a 2.5 GPA in the last two years of full-time study.
English Language Proficiency: IELTS: 6.5; TOEFL – 80 (IBT), paper based – 550, Computer based – 213; Pearson Test of English (PTE) – 53. Graduate Record Exam (GRE) Preparation - Combined minimum score of 285.
