Kinesiology students explore human motion and physical activity in both professional and recreational contexts. Our alumni pursue careers as athletic directors, trainers, coaches, educators, fitness instructors, and sports administrators, while some advance to medical school or graduate programs in physical therapy. As a founding member of the American Kinesiology Association, our department stands out as a pioneer within the CSU network and in kinesiology education nationwide. Undergraduate programs include kinesiology and teaching degrees, while our master's program offers concentrations in exercise physiology, sports management, sport studies, and specialized fields. We foster student engagement through organizations like the Adapted Physical Activity Club supporting disability advocacy, the Pre-PT Club, Pre-OT Club, and Kinesiology Ambassadors Club dedicated to promoting awareness of the discipline.
