The Kinesiology department is dedicated to studying, educating, and implementing principles of movement, physical activity, and human function to improve overall well-being, efficiency, and life satisfaction.
This program combines foundational science courses (such as physiology, anatomy, and biology) with specialized kinesiology studies. Core curriculum explores the body's adaptation to exercise, physiological and mental influences on physical activity, biomechanics of motion, motor skill acquisition across life stages, and physical activity's impact on public health.
As a pre-professional track, kinesiology equips students for advanced studies in healthcare fields or graduate programs in movement science and sports medicine. Graduates can launch careers in diverse fields like fitness training, home healthcare services, and therapeutic support roles.
