The School of Music and Dance stands as an acclaimed institution in the performing arts. With accreditation from prestigious organizations including the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM), National Association of Schools of Dance (NASD), National Council of Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), and California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC), we cultivate exceptional music educators, composers, artists, and researchers globally. Our academic offerings span composition, performance, musical techniques, choreographic studies (for dancers), technological applications, teaching methodologies, and creative improvisation. Performance ensembles range from the Concert Choir and Choraliers to the Jazz Orchestra, Opera Theater, Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, and the renowned Spartan Marching Band.
