The Master of Science in Regulatory Affairs program delivers thorough training in regulatory science, equipping students with the expertise needed to navigate federal and state regulations, particularly those enforced by the Food and Drug Administration. This collaborative degree is offered by the College of Sciences and SDSU Global Campus.
The curriculum centers on federal laws and regulations, primarily those from the FDA, governing drug discovery, development, testing, and production for commercial distribution. It also covers post-market surveillance obligations. Students will gain in-depth knowledge of current regulations and their real-world implementation in bringing drugs, biologics, and medical devices to market. Additionally, the program includes courses to develop the communication and management abilities vital for regulatory affairs professionals in industry settings.
