Columbia University's Master of Science in Bioethics equips students with interdisciplinary methods and frameworks to tackle today's critical bioethical issues. The program offers two learning formats: traditional on-campus classes at Columbia's NYC location or online through the university's adaptable digital platform. Full-time students can finish in one year, while part-time students have up to three years to complete the program. Enrollment is available for both fall and spring semesters in 2021. The majority of classes are scheduled in the evenings from 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. EST, with live online courses conducted on weekday nights.
Applicant must be a recent undergraduate who plan to work in the healthcare profession and are interested in bioethical issues, such as medical ethics. Students will have a diverse range of backgrounds, and may have majored in the social sciences, the humanities, or the sciences.
English Language Requirement
Applicant must have TOEFL score of 600 on paper-and-pencil test, 100 on the internet-based test and IELTS score of 7.5
