San Diego State University's International Business (IB) program blends business administration courses with foreign language and cultural/regional studies, forming a comprehensive interdisciplinary major. This distinctive Bachelor of Arts degree is collaboratively awarded by the College of Arts and Letters and the Fowler College of Business.

The international business major merges business education with language proficiency and cultural understanding, resulting in a joint BA degree from both colleges. Students can pair language specialization with area studies to tailor their academic path to personal aspirations. The curriculum mandates overseas study and practical internship experience for all participants.
