These programs focus on exploring cultural, literary, humanistic pursuits, and artistic manifestations of humanity. Learners will analyze how various civilizations throughout history have expressed their relationship with themselves and their environment through creative and cultural works. Participants will develop an appreciation for aesthetic principles and apply these insights when forming critical assessments. To obtain an Associate of Arts degree, students must complete at least 60 credit units with a minimum 2.0 GPA. Core requirements demand a C grade or higher, with a selection of at least 18 units from designated Arts and Humanities offerings. For comprehensive study, participants must choose courses from at least two different disciplines within this category. These classes may also fulfill general education prerequisites.
